South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival

Are you looking for something fun to do this weekend? Why not attend the 2016 South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival held at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin®. I have to say, this is one of my favorite events in South Walton, not only is it a ton of fun, but it supports several local children’s charities here along the Emerald Coast. Wine festivals are a great way to sample wines from all over to become familiar with great wineries that you may not have previously know about. In addition to the incredible selection of more than 800 wines, South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival offers some of the world’s finest foods, including delicious cheeses, olives, sushi and of course, chocolate!

While you are there be sure to also check out the celebrity winemakers and chefs in attendance. Some of this year’s roster will include Cristina Mariani-May of Castello Banfi, Jeff Mausbach of TintoNegro Wines, and local Emerald Coast Chef Emeril Lagasse. The  four day festival is held April 28th- May 1st, 2016, rain or shine. Good news is, the weather is expected to absolutely perfect this weekend with sunny skies in the low eighties!  Whether you are into big reds, bubbles, craft beer or even spirits you are sure to find something that you will enjoy at the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival.
