Seagrove Village Market Café set to Open this Weekend

Have you noticed all of the construction at the corner of Scenic Highway 30A and 395? If you are anything like us, you are just as excited to see the finished product. There will be eight brand new condominiums above the remolded V Seagrove, which is now called Surfing Deer, and right next door will be the BRAND new Seagrove Village Market Café which is nearing completion, and is scheduled to open November 10th.  The Seagrove Village Market Café will be on the north end of the property. The new building will have a facade facing Highway 395 that resembles the old market, and the main entrance will be on the south side facing the parking lot. There will also be porch seating all along that side so you don’t miss a minute of all of the outdoor beauty that Seagrove Beach has to offer.

old-seagrove-marketGeorge & Ann Hartley, owners of the Seagrove Village Market are excited to bring back the popular Café because it has been a part of the Seagrove community for many years, dating all the way back to 1949! It’s become a tradition for families who vacation in South Walton. Generations of guests return year after year to dine there, purchase souvenirs, and experience beach life as it once was.

In addition to the Seagrove Village Market’s “Deep Fried Love” aka yummy food, it is also known for selling some of the best souvenirs along Scenic Highway 30A. The market sells kitschy gifts and classic Seagrove merchandise including t-shirts, hats, and much more. Be sure to stop by and see the new location next time you are in Seagrove!
