Miller’s Landing on Lake Powell Completes Phase 2

Successful grand opening generates excitement and interest

There is a lot of good news to share about Miller’s Landing on Lake Powell—The Premier Property Group’s (PPG’s) much-anticipated development on the up-and-coming western end of Panama City Beach. Celebrated for both an exquisite, secluded natural backdrop and its proximity to modern conveniences, Miller’s Landing recently completed Phase 2 of construction and released seven new residences into the market.

More than 60 people attended a grand opening of the new building in September, which featured food and refreshments from Back Beach Barbecue, U.S. Bank Mortgage and Provident Title, along with pontoon boat rides from MarineMax. A few lucky winners also took home prime gifts from Furniture South in Santa Rosa Beach.

“The event was a great success, and attendees couldn’t say enough about the natural beauty of the development and its location directly on Lake Powell,” said Ricky Lee Jones, lead real estate agent for Miller’s Landing, adding that one of the residences is now under contract. “The residences are extremely popular due to their price point and location. It’s nearly impossible to find homes of this scale in the low 300s this close to Highway 30A communities.”

Notably, the first building sold out prior to its completion during the summer of 2018. Lee said that the remaining six units available through Phase 2 are not expected to last long as the new building claims the closest proximity to the shores of Lake Powell and the water-front pool. It also backs up to a coveted secluded location near the wooded area that borders Lake Powell Park and a boat ramp.

While Florida’s Emerald Coast abounds with natural beauty, Miller’s Landing boasts a one-of-a-kind setting on Florida’s largest coastal dune lake. Found only in New Zealand, Australia, Madagascar and Northwest Florida, coastal dune lakes are recognized as unique marine ecosystems that form as a result of intermittent exchange of freshwater and saltwater. Lake Powell is also celebrated as a “Pristine Florida Waterway,” offering residents of Miller’s Landing an abundance of natural recreational opportunities and uncommon ecological views.

Paddling enthusiasts of all kinds can reach the beach via Lake Powell without ever getting in their car through a meandering outlet that exchanges water with the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, residents have access to Camp Helen State Park, bordered by the lake on the north and east side. The park is home to pristine beaches and well-developed eco-trails that wind through dunes and scrub oak forests.

In tandem with its secluded, natural setting, Miller’s Landing is just a short walk or drive to unexpected conveniences, trendy entertainment and world-class shopping districts. The development is located near the burgeoning communities of Carillon Beach and Inlet Beach and iconic 30A neighborhoods such as Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, WaterColor and Seaside. To the east, residents and visitors can access the offerings of Panama City Beach, including the city’s infamous Pier Park shopping and entertainment district just a few miles up the road. Notably, residents are only a few short blocks from Publix.

Miller’s Landing offers three- and four-bedroom townhomes that range in size from 2,211-2,744 square feet. The elegantly-designed residences provide an open floor plan on the main living level that opens out to a large balcony—a design that is conducive for both entertaining or quiet evenings overlooking the lake. Constructed with 9-foot ceilings, the townhomes are equipped with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, the latest in laminate wood and porcelain tile flooring, granite countertops, all-wood cabinetry and impact-rated doors and windows. Owners also have access to a private one- or two-car garage. The property’s amenity package includes lush, maintenance-free landscaping, a pool overlooking Lake Powell, community dock and other lifestyle amenities.

When completed, Miller’s Landing will offer a total of 25 residences. Lee noted that the development’s day dock was also completed as part of Phase 2.
