Broker Associate, Hannah Martin of The Premier Property Group is hosting her 3rd Annual Birthday Bash benefitting Special Olympics Florida of Walton County. “La Lumiere: A Masquerade Affair”, presented by Destin Plastic Surgery and Duckies Shop of Fun, will take place Friday, February 10, 2017, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at St. Joe Club & Resort’s LakeHouse on Western Lake in spectacular Watercolor, Florida.
Jimbo Holloway, Hannah’s Real Estate mentor approached her to ask if she could help raise seed money for Special Olympics of Florida – Walton County. Jimbo’s son William, has Down syndrome, a condition in which extra genetic material causes delays in the way a child develops, both mentally and physically. Hannah immediately saw this as the perfect opportunity to give back to a family and the community that had been so gracious to her for years.
Since this happened to be around Hannah’s birthday, she decided to throw a huge birthday bash in honor of Special Olympics – Walton County. Hannah, along with her friends and Special Olympic volunteers, planned a party in less than two weeks, and the best part yet was that they had succeeded their goal and raised over $10,000. Hannah instantly realized the potential of even larger achievements provided more time to plan, and additional community involvement. The following year Hannah raised an astonishing $55,000 in one night. This year her goal is even higher, and with your help, she will be able to make another large impact in the lives of many children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our very own community.
Hannah’s Masquerade Affair will be unlike any of her past fundraising events. For a $100 donation to attend, the masquerade themed event will include dinner, drinks, and entertainment for all, including gambling tables with blackjack and craps. Those looking to try their luck can do so by purchasing raffle tickets in exchange for chips. The night of giving will also include a live auction, raffles and an impressive silent auction including local art, private catered dinners and even a luxurious getaway. As part of the night’s events and giving opportunities guests will also have the opportunity to ADOPT AN ATHLETE. Your funds will help these boys and girls offset expenses related to transportation, meals, and accommodations while competing in the games.
Tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door.
