You may have noticed that craft beer festivals have becoming increasingly popular around the area. The first annual 30A Craft Beer & Spirits Festival is a highly anticipated event elevating the craft beer and spirits movement along the Emerald Coast. Get ready for two days of craft beer, spirits, music, food and a great weekend at Gulf Place on Saturday and Sunday, Sep 30 & Oct 1. Get your tickets here! Formerly known as The Destin Beer Festival, this highly anticipated event has attracted over 1,000 craft beer & spirits enthusiasts to our area. I think my favorite feature of this festival is that each year, 100% of the proceeds benefit local 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations.
This year the benefiting charity will be the Seaside School Foundation. This wonderful organization was established in 2008 to benefit and support The Seaside School, Inc., a public charter school in the Florida Panhandle. The school receives some state funding to cover basic operational costs. However, they depend on outside financial contributions to finance capital building and renovation initiatives; to fund robotics, art, music, gardening, and technology and other elective programs and to maintain smaller class sizes in math. The Seaside School would not be able to operate without the support of individuals and business who generously contribute to the school’s mission, which is to provide students in Walton County with individualized and innovative instruction, delivered by quality teachers in a community-based school setting.
Enjoy live music, sample foods from local restaurants, and of course taste over 100 craft beers and spirits.
